Prepare a brief vendors can answer
Draw locations and reading positions; attach an actual content file and operating hours. State whether there is glass, sunlight, water or an interaction requirement. If a fact is unknown, mark it pending and assign who will measure it. Use this guide’s workshop to organize those fields; its output is a requirements draft, not an engineering calculation.
Normalize the quote
Request model codes, quantity, mounting, player, CMS, installation and service as separate line items. Compare licenses by period and document exit costs. Ask for warranty and support terms applicable to the site. If a cheaper alternative changes hours, brightness or service access, record which requirement it no longer covers.
Acceptance starts before ordering
Agree on site readability, publishing and withdrawal, network loss, power recovery and the touch task where relevant. Define who signs each result and what blocks acceptance. Include a handover of documentation, access and training. Do not close the project just because images appear; leave an outstanding-items list and review date.

Action checklist
- Attach location and actual content.
- Mark unknowns and owners.
- Separate initial and recurring costs.
- Agree tests before ordering.
- Receive documentation, access and training.
Document the result of each action and assign an owner for what remains pending.
Common questions
Does the workshop replace an installer?
No. It organizes requirements; structural and electrical assessment and technical validation belong to project professionals.
How do I compare different prices?
Align scope, quantities, license periods and service before comparing totals.
Sources and scope
The 16:9 dimensions describe the image area. Confirm chassis dimensions, seams, tolerances and loads with the installer.
Confirm values, operating conditions and warranty in the current model specification before accepting a quote.
