Digital signage brings together screens, players, content and a way to manage them. Define which visitor decision you want to support and who will keep the message current. A visually appealing system loses value if it shows outdated prices, gives poor directions or relies on one person to operate.
What to look at first
In retail, tie each location to one action: discover a category, find a section or understand an offer. In restaurants, prioritize readable, current menus; in hotels, event changes and directions. For hospitals or airports, agree with the owner how public information is separated from personal data and critical operational systems.
Three questions for your project
- Which message takes priority?
- Who approves and who publishes?
- What appears if the connection is lost?
One step you can take today
Walk through the site with the operations team. Gather real content samples, reading positions and maintenance conditions. Use the related guides to document requirements and the workshop to organize what is known and what is pending.
